This legendary gun Gletcher PARABELLUM with a unique toggle-lock action was a success for nearly half a century. The original design of the breech reduced recoil and the handle geometry provided for a sporty grip. These factors allowed this gun to excel at shooting precision. The original model was used in two world wars as well as many smaller conflicts, and although it required some attention in maintenance and service, has gained considerable popularity in the United States and Europe.
Gletcher produces two versions of this German world war classic. The Gletcher Parabellum is an upgraded version of the Gletcher P08, and is an accurate representation of the original firearm in terms of size and weight. The Parabellum has a breech lever system with Blowback supplemented with a functioning bolt hold-open device, a full metal magazine, and a light trigger pull.
